FAQS

CAN I BE ASSURED OF A SAFE AND STRESS-FREE HOLIDAY?

In a word, Yes. Since the middle of 2021, we have gone through a rigorous course on Covid protocols and have been assessed on our knowledge.

In the event that you do fall ill during your stay, we have RAT Kits available and will refer you onto our private doctor, if necessary.

DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COME TO FIJI?

It is no longer mandatory, but highly recommended. Make sure that your insurance coverage includes Covid Cover for any unforeseen delays to your travel plans, hospital cover and isolation expenses.

CAN I TRAVEL FREELY AROUND FIJI OR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY?

Yes, once you have arrived, there are no restrictions on moving around.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FEEL ILL?

We will check your temperature and check you for any symptoms. Should you be unwell, you will be asked to stay in your room and if you do not improve, our local private doctor and the Ministry of Health will be notified.

We won't make you or your partner vacate your villa or separate you from each other. Larger resorts may move you to a room dedicated to quarantine. Our commitment is to your well-being and peace of mind.

Meals will be arranged for you, during any confinement.

I AM CONCERNED ABOUT OTHER GUESTS BEING UNWELL OR BRINGING COVID INTO THE RESORT.

As part of our CFC Commitment, we will not be offering the other villa for rental, for the time being, so you will be the only guests on the property. You will not be sharing any common areas such as a pool or dining area with other guests.

Less people = less stress.

ARE EMPLOYEES TRAINED TO RECOGNISE AND REPORT ANY SUSPECTED COVID CASES and/or COVID SAFE PROTOCOL BREACHES?

Yes, we are and we have ongoing training protocols in place.

I AM CONCERNED YOUR STAFF COULD BE POSITIVE FOR COVID.

We test all staff on a weekly basis to ensure your safety.

DOES THE RESORT HAVE ROBUST CLEANING PROTOCOLS FOR ALL AREAS OF OPERATION IN PLACE, AS PER THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH GUIDELINES?

Yes, we do.

DOES THE RESORT PROVIDE ADEQUATE HANDWASHING STATIONS AND SANITISER DISPENSERS ON THE PROPERTY?

Yes, you will find them throughout the villas and outdoor areas, including the pool pavilion.

WHAT OTHER INFORMATION CAN YOU PROVIDE ME WITH BEFORE I TRAVEL TO FIJI?

The best place to look for up to date info is on https://www.fiji.travel

WHAT SHOULD I PACK TO BRING WITH ME?

We suggest mostly light clothing, as even when the weather is wet, it is still warm. Perhaps a light jacket or cardigan for cooler nights. You will only need reef shoes if you want to explore some coral at low tide. Our beach has soft dark sand, so you won't need reef shoes to swim out from the beach, or even walk up to the Nasekawa River, for instance.

DO I NEED TO HIRE A FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE TO GET TO MY VILLA?

No. The road from Savusavu Town and Airport is mostly tar sealed. The road into our Private Estate is gravel, but there are no steep hills to negotiate, nor do we have a steep driveway.

DO I NEED TO SHOP FOR GROCERY ITEMS PRIOR TO COMING TO MY VILLA?

Yes, it is strongly recommended to shop for items ao you can prepare your own meals, as we only provide basic pantry items in your villa, along with tea/coffee/sugar and UHT milk and a continental breakfast.

CAN I ORDER MEALS FROM TOWN?

Yes, most certainly. We have a great relationship with a cafe in town, the owner is a qualified sous chef and her meals are delicious. If you have any special dietary requirements such as vegan/vegetarian or gluten-free, we can ask her to prepare meals accordingly. They are also great value for money.

DO YOU OFFER FREE TRANSFERS FROM SAVUSAVU AIRPORT?

Yes, we do. Once you make your booking and it is confirmed, you can tell us your arrival time and we will make sure we are there to collect you and your luggage. We can even take you grocery shopping, before driving out to Sekawa.
